EmmanueL FIANDINO 0 Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Hello, I am looking to create a generic xml file that contains the most suitable antivirus configuration and that is a balance between protection and performance without using the console. I'm also looking for a configuration that avoids the user to respond to messages that the antivirus may display. Does anyone have this kind of file or is there a best practice for this? Thank you for your answers
Administrators Marcos 5,469 Posted March 3, 2022 Administrators Posted March 3, 2022 Default settings provide are suitable for most users. What you could do to improve protection: 1, Set reporting/detection level to "aggressive" 2, Enable detection of potentially unsafe applications 3, Use extra HIPS rules (https://support.eset.com/en/kb6119) 4, Use ESET Dynamic Threat Defense with proactive protection Also I'd recommend locking real-time protection and HIPS settings via a policy.
