Wrong country bought

I mistakenly bought an ESET Internet Security program for my pc for activation in India, I meant to buy one that can be activated in South Africa, I am told that as long as, when I activate it, I specify India it should work, but activation always fails. I'm hoping I don't have to buy another program as I am unemployed. Can anybody help.

You can ask for a refund and purchase a license from your local authorized distributor,

Use a VPN with a link to India when you activate; after that should be OK to use in the whole world.

Buying from a local authorized distributor is , most likely, more expensive.
