Hi @AFerreira,

We have an option called "Maintenance Mode" available for EFDE: https://help.eset.com/efde/en-US/maintenance_mode.html Its purpose is to be used by IT Admins to allow them to perform maintenance work on their machines, e.g. Windows Updates which require multiple restarts. This mode allows them to temporarily disable the EFDE Pre-Boot Authentication screen so they don't need to know the users FDE Password to access to perform these updates.

This is not to be used as a way to remove the EFDE Pre-Boot Authentication screen on a permanent basis.

If you wish to have the Pre-Boot Authentication screen disabled on a permanent basis, I recommend you look into our flagship Encryption product EEE (ESET Endpoint Encryption), where you can use a mode call "No Extra Authentication" which uses the TPM to increase security, whereas EFDE does not have this feature:

If you wish to know more I would recommend contacting your local ESET sales office: https://www.eset.com/be-nl/ (Belgium Dutch) or https://www.eset.com/be-fr/ (Belgium French)
