Guest Trying1
Using the terminal, how do I move a license from Computer-1 to Computer-2? I've received a trial license for "ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux", which I'm using to test ESET on desktop Linux. I can activate a license using "sudo /opt/eset/eea/sbin/lic --key=<License Key>". But "sudo /opt/eset/eea/sbin/lic --help" does not list any options to deactivate or move a license. My readings indicate that "ESET PROTECT" might provide a means of moving a license (plus a configuration GUI). Unfortunately, my attempts at installing "ESET PROTECT" for Linux have failed (many manual steps -- error prone). https://help.eset.com/protect_install/90/en-US/prerequisites_server_linux.html https://help.eset.com/protect_install/90/en-US/installation_linux.html https://support.eset.com/en/kb7907-install-eset-protect-on-debian-10 So using the terminal, how do I move a license from Computer-1 to Computer-2? If its not possible with a terminal, is there any other means besides using "ESET PROTECT" for Linux? Any help appreciated. Thank you. Link to comment

Guest Trying1
Hello Marcos, Thank you for your response. Just so I'm clear in my understanding, you're saying that a simple "sudo apt remove eea" on computer-1 is sufficient to recover the license for re-use on computer-2? Again, thank you for the help.
