Recommended Posts

Good morning,

I inform you that my eset it and deactivates all automatic updates of modules and products as the image below informs:

Now in this lower image it is yellow, informing you that you tried to update and failed.

Before it did not inform when I leave the settings disabled to not update automatically.
Now leave this information in yellow.

Looks ok to me since you denied update and interrupted it:

I agree with you that it was interrupted.
What bothers is this yellow alert that did not exist before.
I spent several days without updating the antivirus. and this nuisance alert did not appear in the eset interface.

I'm confused. That yellow alert states that you cancelled an update. What issue do you have? Might be lost in translation

If I set it to not update. Why are you showing me this information?
If I manually update it was not to show this information.

Still confused. Why are you setting eset to not update anyways?

I like to do manual updates.
I avoid several updates that come with problems.

I know occasionally you might get false positives but actual definition updates rarely contain bugs if I'm correctn and are updated a few times daily. Automatic updates means you'll always be protected from the latest threats
