move license from one ESET HOME account to another

Hi, 

My client wants me to manage his ESET licenses from now on. I tried to add the license to my ESET HOME account but it says it is already registered to another account. What is the process here? Can he completely remove it from his account without that affecting the computers where it is installed so I can then add it to my account?
