Cherrie 0
I've had eset antivirus for years and when I got my new phone I put it on that also. I was looking at my app and it had some red flags so I attended to them. One was for permissions so if my phone got stolen or lost eset would either lock it or help me find it. Within 2 minutes my phone locked and wanted the password to my account. I typed in my password and was ok for another minute and a half and then it locked again. I can't trust it now so I uninstalled the eset app until I can find out why it keeps doing this. I was in my own house so it's not location. Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted January 16, 2022 Administrators Share Posted January 16, 2022 Sound like you or somebody marked the device as missing in Anti-Theft at https://home.eset.com. If it's not missing, mark it as not missing in Anti-Theft. The phone must have an active Internet connection to subsequently receive updated information.
