Installing ESET Internet Security to an Android phone

Recommended Posts

I am installing ESET Internet Security for the first time on an Android Phone. I get to the spot where it asks for the License Key. Even though I have 2 of them it will not accept either of the license keys. Do I need a separate key for each installation and if so how do I get that?

I assume you mean ESET Mobile Security which is the security product for Android for home users.

If your license email address matches that of your Google Play account, you don't have to enter your license key manually.

However, it seems that you have an ESET Internet Security license and not a multi-device pack. I'd recommend contacting the seller, probably the license needs to be converted in order to activate ESET Mobile Security too.

I know I am showing my ignorance here, but I didn't know there was a difference between the Internet Virus program for computers and phones. I bought ESET Internet Security licenses for 4 devices and now I have to buy something different for a phone? I bought this directly from ESET's web site and there was no info readily seen about the program for computers is different than one for phones. Any further help would be greatly appreciated, will ESET convert the one license to one I can use on the phone? Also, I will not use any Google Play or anything Google that I can avoid, so I will have to deal with ESET direct. Sorry Google fans, but I am not a true believer.
