UNINSTALLING MICROSOFT DEFENDER

My old PC has both Defender and ESET.  Now wanting to transfer ESET to new PC. Does Defender need to be uninstalled on new PC first or does instruction to uninstall other anti- virus  apps only apply to  other commercial apps?

On Windows 10/11, Windows Defender should be disabled automatically during installation. Are you positive it's running alongside with ESET?
