Sealed ESET Smart Security license key expired

Hi 

I have ESET Smart Security 2016 Sealed in stock, not used until today, when installing and activating with the attached license key, it shows "license key expired", I have payed for the software but didn't use it until now, any ideas how to renew the license without paying as I have paid earlier??

If it's really a 6-year old box that has been sold to you recently, I'd suggest returning it to the seller and asking for a current box. If you purchased it 5 years ago, you can try contacting the seller, however, if there was information about until when the product must be activated they may refuse to refund you the money or provide a current activation key after so long time.
