Looking in the EEI Agent logs, I'm seeing a bunch of the following errors:

Error: License check failed. Request to ESET Endpoint Security/Antivirus failed. Error PERSEUS_UNKNOWN (5000)

Can anyone shed some light on this error and/or how to fix it?

@Peter Randziak Hi Peter. No, EEI is deployed on Windows Server. The Windows clients don't report any licensing errors. OS X clients are typically running the latest available versions of agent and AV and don't indicate any licensing errors in the EP Console.

Hello @j-gray. Reasoning is, that the current (old) version of the EEA / EES for Mac does not have the licensing callback implemented. Meaning, the EEI agent tries to contact EEA / EES, to verify it´s license, but the product can´t respond. This will be implemented in the Endpoint for Mac V7, which is currently in early access program. 

This does not have any impact on the product functionality.
