Block application's communication

I'm trying to block an application ability to send information and receive information.  I searched and there are topics concerning how to block applications.  I want to use the application without it communicating outside my network.  This is the first time to post so hopefully I posted correctly. Thanks

To block application communication, create a firewall block rule, select "Any" protocol and select the application you want to block.
