ESET SysRescue Error

Recommended Posts

I am using a translator excuse the mistakes

I installed ESET SysRescue via rufus on a flash drive, suspecting my system had a virus. When the screen came up, I clicked on the option named "RUN ESET SysRescue" and then on the black screen:

[ 0.837817] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [_SB.PCIO.I2C2.T PDO], AE_NOT_FOUND (20190816/dswload2-163)
[ 0.837831] ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20190816/ps object-221)
[ 0.837863] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [_SB.PCI0.1203. T PL1], AE_NOT_FOUND (20190816/dswload2-163)
[ 0.837867] ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20190816/ps object-221)
[ 2.852630] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: DRM: failed to create kernel channel, -22

Immediately after, ESET's loading screen opened, after waiting there for about 45 seconds, the following was added to the same error;

BusyBox v1.27.2 (Ubuntu 1:1.27.2-2ubuntu3.3) built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
(initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing a live file system

If you have an older PC that is BIOS based versus UEFI, you're going to have to download the SysRescue .iso file. Then use Rufus to create bootable media from the .iso file. This is the only way I could get SysRescue to run on my old BIOS based PC.
