Parameter That I Don't Understand

Hello,

I would like to add a new task and i wonder what this parameter means : "Run the task immediately if the time since its last execution exceeds specified interval" 

 

Can you explain me with other words?

Let's say you schedule a task that will run an external application when the computer starts. If you restart the computer every while and then, you might not want to run the task every time the system starts but only once in X hours which is what the setting is about.
