beagle1957 1
Hello, new user and Norton refugee(yay!) here. Since installing ESET Smart Security, the Google Drive app on my desktop (Windows 8.1 Pro Update 1 84-bit) reports that it can not connect to the internet. I have both the HIPS and Personal Firewall modules in ESET Smart Security set to learning mode and I saw the firewall create a rule to permit outbound access for Google Drive on TCP port 443, which should have done the trick, but didn't. Any suggestions?

beagle1957 1
Thanks for the prompt reply - I believe SSL scan settings are set to default. I'm not at my computer currently - I will check as soon as I get home & report back.
Administrators Marcos 4,919 Posted July 23, 2014 Administrators Share Posted July 23, 2014 You can try disabling firewall via gui and protocol filtering in advanced setup, one at a time, to narrow it down.
