ESET No longer runs or Uninstall After Windows 10 20H1 and 21H1 Upgrade

Same issues as experienced under this thread Cannot uninstall ESET and keep admin permissions - ESET Internet Security & ESET Smart Security Premium - ESET Security Forum. The repair and remove process fails due to no access permission to the files within the Eset installation folder as the administrator user.

Try to uninstall it manually following the steps here :

Check the permissions to the ESET folders and make sure that the Administrators group has full control granted and that the current user is part of the Administrators group. Is Control Folder Access disabled?

Sometimes it works to reinstall over the top and then try the uninstall again.
