how to block a certain domain without using the ip address?

Hi, I want to block this domain "downloads.nordcdn.com" in nordvpn. Because it popups a update window which is quite annoying. But I can not block the ip address related to the domain since other funtions in the app stops working if I block it.

You can block the hostname in the URL management setup. However, this will work only for http/https communication.

Dont ignore your client VPN updates , sometimes they include important security fixes.

Blocking their servers might also give your problems with VPN connectivity.

Yet once you block it , for sure NordClient will try to find another server to check the updates from , as they would have several and not only one.
