I have 2 network drives connected.  Do I schedule an on-demand scan the same way as I do for a computer scan?  I ask becasue on the setup in one of the screens there is a box on the bottom of the scfreen in the choose what to scan that want a path?  I did not use it when I schdeuled my whole computer scan.

Since scheduled scans are run in the local system account, they cannot be used to scan network drives.

Eset has a command line based scanner: https://support.eset.com/en/kb3417-eset-command-line-scanner-parameters-eclsexe-5x-and-later . The scan code can be created in a script and the script scheduled to run via Win Task Manager.

However, I am not sure this will scan network drives. Possibly by setting the scheduled task to run with highest privledges; i.e. System.

Yes, ecls can be run via a Windows Scheduler task if it's run under a user with at least read permissions to the network share.
