General questions about ESET Full Disk Encryption

Hello,

I have next questions about EFDE:

1. EFDE, regarding to MS Windows, essentially allows to manage Bitlocker Encryption?
2. If answer to previous question is true, then only MS Windows versions that allow use of Bitlocker, can be administrated and encrypted with EFDE, is it that correct?
3. Information about EFDE system requirements doesn't clarify this doubt

Hello,

EFDE does not utilize/manage Bitlocker. EFDE performs the encryption itself and is managed by ESET Protect.

Just a note, @Cruz I have contacted our documentation / MKT teams, to include the information about the fact that EFDE is not just a management of Bitlocker, but it uses our own encryption engine into our documentation. Therefore, you can install it on any compatible operating system, regardless whether it includes Bitlocker or not.
