AshBurger 0
In the last few days Win10 desktop notifications for signature updates have produced a sound. I really want to disable that so that I only get a sound when I need to take an action. Is there a way currently that I haven't found? I couldn't find it on the help site. If it's possible to disable signature update notifications all-together that's a compromise I'd be willing to make, but I do like seeing the signature updates coming visually because it subtly reminds me that the program is working as expected. Administrators Marcos 4,841 Posted May 19, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 19, 2021 First of all, notifications about module updates are disabled by default. You can customize the sound in the system sound setup, I recollect it's the Notification sound in case of notifications.
AshBurger 0
Thanks for the response, Marcos. That setting is already off, and I can't find ESET in the system sound setup of Win10 - just a general "allow notifications to play sound" toggle and a list of notification senders where ESET isn't on. Anyway, I'll pay more attention to the notification next time and take some screenshots to debug what's going on some more before returning.
