Does anyone know how to get an invoice/receipt out of these people?

I have made countless requests for a receipt or instructions to access a receipt after paying for my subscription.   I've not received a single response. The closest I've gotten to a response is a canned auto-reply email acknowledging my request.

Has anyone ever obtained a receipt from ESET?

Assuming you purchased your Eset license from Eset N.A. eStore, you should have received via e-mail two e-mails. One e-mail contains your license key data and the second e-mail is a purchase receipt.

Note that Eset N.A. which is located in San Diego, CA handles all Eset North America sales and support activity.

As @itman noted, getting in touch with your local ESET office would probably be the best method.  I would suggest giving the office a call and asking to speak to sales or customer service.  According to https://www.eset.com/int/about/contact/, the toll-free number is +1 (866) 343-3738 for the U.S.
