Eset Push Notification Service - problem when offline

Product: Eset Nod32 Antivirus (actual version)

OS: Windows 10 (actual build)

After the 14.1.19.0 update I keep getting orange notifications that Eset Push Notification Service is not available. It comes within 15-20 minutes every time I disconnect from the internet. The problem is I do need working offline from time to time. And it is very annoying to get interrupted like that. 

My PC is not part of any network, home or corporative or whatever. How come this service is even installed? Built-in? Can I disable the notification somehow? (I disabled the LiveGrid "no cloud connection" notification a while ago for the same reason - at least, it had a checkbox in the settings. What about EPNS?)

Same problem here. Internet connection is cut off when not needed and the warning is very annoying. Found no way to disable it, so I had to uninstall the new version and re-install the older one while disabling the auto-update.

As I see it, there are 3 options now:
- Keep the old version as long as it's working, even if it's less secure
- Try to ignore the constant warnings (which is not really an option since it's extremely annoying)
- Ditch the product and stick with Windows Defender (Win10).

Currently I'm using the first option but that's no solution in the long run. I'll give it another try in some weeks/months when there is a new version, but if there is still no option to disable the warning, I'm very likely moving on with the third option.

As I've already mentioned above, currently it is not possible to disable this particular application status but we will consider adding it in future versions.

What is "ESET Push Notification" ?!! After upgrade (update download) to v14.1.19 every time my internet connection disconnects, the message appears! How can I get rid of that ridiculous new feature (myESET account too) ?!!...

ESET Push Notification Service has been used in business products for years already and now it's also leveraged by consumer products, to communicate with my.eset.com, Anti-Theft servers, licensing servers, etc.

As mentioned above, in future versions it will be possible to disable the notifications when EPNS is not available.

In what version?! I have upgraded to v14.1.20 now but it is still there. I think its easy as cake (!) as you could implement it to ESET UI you can also remove it as a cake (!) from UI, too!

I have the same issue. Everytime I go offline, The ESET Push Notification Service servers cannot be reached alert comes on under the yellow banner Attention required on the home screen, and this is truly bothersome. I do not want to see it.

The same is true for The ESET LiveGrid servers cannot be reached alert but at least you can disable this.

I look forward to the disable option soon.

If your computer is offline, you'll get an option to not warn about this soon. Otherwise you should make sure that communication with epns.eset.com is possible since more product features leverage it.

This problem often occurs when screen protection is offline. Is there any closing option available?

Did you mean "when the screen saver is not active" ?
