Windows Defender Firewall settings for ESET Internet Security software

Greetings,

I'm getting a warning from Windows Defender Firewall alerting me that I'm "not connected" and that ESET Internet Security is managing these systems.  Do I ignore these notifications?  Or is there some action I need to be taking?

Further, this is on my elderly mother's computer.  She is going to see these Defender notifications and get confused.  What steps should I take to keep her from seeing these notifications?
