sdnian 6
I installed EEA 8.0.2028 in Windows 7 SP1. Everything is fine during the installation. Then I enabled the device control setting and reboot this computer. I saw a warning message "Device control is not fully functional". I try to reboot few times, but the situation is the same. I also try to uninstall and install, still no luck. Any suggestion to solve this issue? Diagnostics.zip
itman 1,742
Verify that you have these two Windows KB's installed: Quote Microsoft® Windows® 7 SP1 with latest Windows updates (at least KB4474419 and KB4490628) https://help.eset.com/eea/8/en-US/sysreq.html

If Windows 7 does not support SHA2, EEA 8 cannot be installed.
Administrators Marcos 5,235 Posted April 8, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 8, 2021 Please carry on as follows: - delete the content of C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET Security\Diagnostics - enable advanced Device Control logging under Tools -> Diagnostics - reboot the machine - disable logging - collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload complete ELC logs here.
