Unable to exclude drives from scanning

Hi,

I'm unable to exclude any drives from real-time scanning. I'm aware that it's no longer possible to do this in the GUI however it was advised on a previous post that this could be done by exporting the settings, manually editing them and re-importing them but this no longer seems to be working.

I don't think it's possible to exclude whole drives. You can import an exclusion like d:\*.* but this would exclude files in the root of the D drive.

You can open a support ticket with your local ESET distributor but that's how I understand it works.

What is your use case? Why do you want to exclude the whole drive from scanning?

Are you sure you can still import exclusions like this?  This is what I have done in previous versions, but in the latest version it will not import an exclusion for a whole drive, the import will only accept subfolders.
