randomuninstaller 0 Posted March 19, 2021 Share Posted March 19, 2021 i used the guide here https://support.eset.com/en/kb2289-uninstall-eset-manually-using-the-eset-uninstaller-tool but Epfw never showed up in my network devices (never uninstalled it),and i proceeded with the uninstall. did i up? Most Valued Members shocked 60 Posted March 19, 2021 Most Valued Members Share Posted March 19, 2021 in my pc the Epfw NDIS LightWeight Filter driver isn't present in the network adapter properties window, so i guess it depends on windows version and configuration, unless Eset stopped providing the driver in it's products, in any case, if you used the uninstaller and the application reports that your pc is clean and no supported products are found, then you're fine. This has been replaced in later Eset versions which now use the Windows Filtering Platform (WFP) built into the Win OS.
