Macbook external mic is not working?

Hello everyone,

I have purchased the new Mac book and was trying to record something but it is not working when I am plugging the external mic.
All I was doing was changing - sounds and input, but I'm failed

I have also done windows - same problem there.
Internal mic does not work on windows

Please reply to any solution ???

As far as I am aware of, Eset only monitors webcam settings. As a test, temporarily disable that setting and see if internal mic now works:
