Hi, I've installed ESET SMART SECURITY on my Home computer, but I want to buy a register for ESET INTERNET SECURITY. So my question is... do I have to unistall SMART security, and reinstall the INTERNET SECURITY or after insert the serial key the program will automatically upgrade to the lower version of Internet security?

If you really have ESET Smart Security and not ESET Smart Security Premium, uninstall it, reboot the machine and install the latest version of ESET Internet Security (replaced ESS a long time ago).

Assuming you have Eset Smart Security Premium installed, you can downgrade to Internet Security via Change Product option. Select Eset Internet Security per the below screen shot:

If you have ESET Smart Security Premium license, there is no reason to install a product with less features. I'd strongly suggest to keep using ESSP instead of downgrading to EIS.
