Primordiarch 3
Hello. I've followed https://help.eset.com/eis/14/en-US/how_resolve_bp_browser_error.html?issue=00110103. I cleared the cache, disable Banking & Payment, restart and re-enable it and it still won't redirect. What do I do?
Administrators Marcos 5,277 Posted March 8, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2021 What browser do you use as default? What Internetbanking url doesn't open in a secure browser? Please provide logs collected with ESET Log Collector.
Primordiarch 3
Firefox, and all of them. I've even uninstalled using ESET uninstaller, and reinstall it normally. Still same. Actually, the internetbanking is set to "always ask" but rather than asking, it always redirected to that help.eset site. There is a warning. See log it says, after I ran ESET Log Collector. eis_logs.zip Edited March 8, 2021 by Primordiarch

Does Banking and Payment Protection work if you open it via it's desktop icon?

I just tested this with an "always ask" web site via FireFox. No problems with EIS 14.0.22 opening Banking and Payment protection. What browser are you using when you enter your bank URL? Also as previously requested, post that URL so we can test it. Edited March 9, 2021 by itman
Administrators Marcos 5,277 Posted March 9, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 9, 2021 I'd suggest uninstalling IOBit products and XIGNCODE3 System Guard (anti-cheat program), one after each other. Let us know about your findings.
Solution Primordiarch 3 Posted March 9, 2021 Author Solution Share Posted March 9, 2021 (edited) Hello. I've found the culprit. Once I start Firefox with addons disabled, ESET ask to redirect to Banking & Payment Protection. "HTTPS Everywhere" addon is what causing the problem. Administrators Marcos 5,277 Posted March 9, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 9, 2021 Yes, enforcing HTTPS will cause this issue.

itman 1,751
I will also add that Eset doesn't support FF's HTTPS-Only mode:
