glennbtn 0
Hi All We have just taken on a customer who has ESET NOD32 anti virus installed on a windows 2003 server. We have never used this anti virus before and seem to be having an issue. When the anti virus finds anything during a scan, it disables all network access. We then need to send an enginner down to site to resolve. Can any one tell me what setting this could be and how I would change it. Not a good idea to have it disable the network. If I can't fix I have been advised to rip it out and replace it with Sophos but would rather give it a chance Thanks Glenn
Administrators Marcos 4,841 Posted July 3, 2014 Administrators Share Posted July 3, 2014 Do you have ESET FIle Security 4.5 installed on the server? Could you please post a record from the Detected threats or an on-demand scanner log? Honestly, no ESET product disables network upon malware detection.
