Hi All

We have just taken on a customer who has ESET NOD32 anti virus installed on a windows 2003 server. We have never used this anti virus before and seem to be having an issue. When the anti virus finds anything during a scan, it disables all network access. We then need to send an enginner down to site to resolve.

Can any one tell me what setting this could be and how I would change it. Not a good idea to have it disable the network. If I can't fix I have been advised to rip it out and replace it with Sophos but would rather give it a chance

Thanks

Glenn

Do you have ESET FIle Security 4.5 installed on the server? Could you please post a record from the Detected threats or an on-demand scanner log? Honestly, no ESET product disables network upon malware detection.
