Eset Internet Security for new home laptop

Bought new laptop and also ESET home internet security software.  I believe I loaded it properly.  However, I constantly get an "Attention required" message from the software stating I have an "Anti-Theft optimization warning."  It slows or stops my internet activity from processing until I open the software on my tray and click "check again" which seems to re-open ability to use internet.  Any suggestions for fixing this situation would be appreciated as I am about ready to take this ESET product back and replace it with something else.  Thanks!

If you are not using Eset's Anti-Theft protection, it can be permanently disabled per below screen shot. This should resolve this issue.
