Does the mirror way works with versions 7 8 for lots of clients

Hi every one

 from 5 years i bought ESET endpoint security 5 with a license for 5 clients

and i setup a one on a windows server and enable mirror updates using http

and generate a client version to get updates from that server

and install it on about 250 computers and things is OK

 

But now i have to upgrade my ESET to 7 or 8

does the mirror way work with these versions ?

with the same mony cost ?

While it's still possible to update from a mirror, we strongly recommend using an http proxy to cache update files. Unlike mirror, http proxy will allow for streamed updates and LiveGrid protection. We recommend using a mirror only for computers that are completely offline and cannot access any machine connected to the Internet.
