LesRMed 23
I'm moving our company from ESET Protect to ESET Protect Cloud. I enabled a rogue detector to gather a list of computers only to find that there's not an Agent Deployment Task in the cloud version. What's the easiest way to get the agent installed without manually going to each computer?
Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted January 26, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 26, 2021 For agent deployment methods please read here: https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/?fs_agent_deploy_remote.html You can deploy agent via GPO or using the Remote deployment tool
LesRMed 23
I guess I should have added this to my original post...I've tried using the remote deployment tool and even though it shows successful, nothing changes on the computers. It seems that the only way to get them to show up correctly is to manually uninstall and manually install the new AIO installer.
ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted January 27, 2021 ESET Staff Share Posted January 27, 2021 Hello @LesRMed - if you are transitioning from the "on premise" to "cloud" version of ESET Protect, you actually do not have to do the actual deployment. You can follow instructions as listed here, to instruct your currently deployed agents, to connect to ESET Protect Cloud: https://help.eset.com/protect_cloud/en-US/?cloud_migration.html
