When phone is locked does it take pictures automatically?

I had my phone locked for a few days for reasons, and when I checked my photos there was an album named "eset" and it was full of pictures that I hadn't taken. they were random pictures of my face, my house, and inside of my pocket. Is this just a safety precaution thing in case it was stolen. Either way kind of concerned and creeped out.

When the phone is marked as missing in the Anti-theft portal, Anti-theft will take photos that you can then view in the AT portal.

Neat! Nothing like a photo to positively ID the theft perpetrator. Did we just "let the cat out of the bag" here?
