repenter 0
Hi I'm trying to connect my laptop to my mobile's hotspot, but eset says: You connected to an unprotected wireless network. Any network communication could be intercepted or manipulated. And then the internet not works on laptop. Any idea about this?
Administrators Marcos 3,591 Posted January 24 Administrators Share Posted January 24 To my best knowledge it's just an informative message with no impact on blocking network communication. Does pausing firewall make a difference?
repenter 0
Thanks a lot, I paused both antivurs and firewall, without any luck. The wifi icon in system tray shows as globe which means no connection.
Administrators Marcos 3,591 Posted January 24 Administrators Share Posted January 24 What about temporarily uninstalling ESET completely? Does the issue go away then?
