Solution itman 927 Posted Wednesday at 02:39 PM Solution Share Posted Wednesday at 02:39 PM Based on what is shown here: https://support.eset.com/en/kb6209-set-up-security-tools-in-eset-smart-security-premium and here: https://support.eset.com/en/kb6266-eset-secure-data-faq , there is no way to change the password. Chucky 0
Thanks. I guess the only option is to create a new drive with a new password. I had created the drive with the "Decrypt Automatically on this Windows account" but I want to change it to a password. Keeping that option reduces security but it would probably not be good if my computer crashed and I had to use the backup of my virtual drive on a new computer. Chucky 0
I guess I should ask a follow-up question. In the event of a computer rebuild, if I take the virtual drive file (*.eed) and copy it to a new computer with ESET installed, will I be able to access the content if the drive was created with a password and the "Decrypt Automatically on this Windows account" option was unchecked?
