I've upgraded my ESMC appliance from v 7.0 to 8.0.

I have updated the Agent on client devices, but when trying to update the Antivirus client, i get the above error.

Repository is set to AUTODETECT.

Any help please

Agent on the client is unable to connect to the repository. Please check https://support.eset.com/en/kb332 for a list of servers and ports that ESET products should be allowed to communicate with.

repository.eset.com 38.90.226.20
  91.228.166.23

91.228.167.25

You might want to limit connections only to ESET servers:

Use repositorynocdn.eset.com to connect ESET repository servers only, however in this case the best Internet connection cannot be guaranteed.

Make sure you have HTTP 1.1 enabled when accessing the repository or ESET update servers via 3rd party proxy.

Thank you Marcos, I'll take a look at that

Please double check also HTTP Proxy configuration if it is used, as it might also result in download errors. Provided error string indicated that client failed to connect to HTTP proxy, and then failed to connect directly to ESET servers, so probably it is crucial to have HTTP proxy working in case direct access to internet is not possible.
