Not sure if if this is the right place but I couldn't see any news from ESET's welivesecurity or twitter feed, forums on detecting this, got some emails from other suppliers that they have updated their signatures, eg "SonicWall Intrusion Prevention Signatures" .

I wanted some reassurance as trying to work out if we ever had Solarwinds installed during the risk period is difficult and I'm presuming maybe wrongly that no vendors were protecting against the teardrop or other specific methods involved in this,
