All my day never fans turning on install ESET every time its update is use damm to much CPU fan get crazy my kids get weekup and its scream for few hours. On my super slow VM with 2 virtual CPUs the CPU utilization reached 54% at maximum for a second or less. If the CPU utilization lasts for minutes or hours, please carry on as follows: - enable advanced oper. system logging in the adv. setup -> Tools -> Diagnostics - reproduce the issue - leave logging enabled for not more than 5 minutes - disable logging - collect logs with ESET Log Collector - upload the generated archive to a safe location and drop me a personal message with a download link. someissue 0 Posted December 5, 2020 Author Share Posted December 5, 2020 600MB log files tooo big and its a company computer I will be try next weak got some work just now disable auto update and do it manually Possible issue: - Tiny wall - processor is i5-6300U so it got 3264 points passmarkt ( so on VM you need adjust speed to get same expirance ) - windows 8.1 - meltdown, spectre patch On also with bios update ____ I think it a issue with testing on VM you got superpower PC maybe had epyc CPu at you work and you don't see this issue when update because even on Vm had one vCPU it will be blazing fast. laptops are different thing You can call this issue a Stave jobs Zen issue when user never expirance fan noise and overheat after install NOD32 get this issue every day for 3-7 minutes when update. Is like use 7zip to decompress 300Mb it can take 3 seconds but on some compute it will be taken 7 minutes. But many of your clients use even older laptops and when you test your software on VM you never expirane same things as user go. Also overheat can be when use Firefox 30% cpu watch some youtube HD laptop on my belly and the NOD32 user another 30% Cpus and total get ~70% usage.
