MATT541 0
I tried everything to download ESET Internet Security for Linux but it seems like I can only get "ESET NOD32" for my linux. I even purchased one license for ESET NOD32 to be able to use it because my password and username from "ESET Internet Security" weren't working. Also, in this topic (see the link down below) the administrator says: "ESET NOD32 for Linux is a legacy product which is no longer being sold nor developed. It's in the limited support phase, ie. basically only module updates are guaranteed." The administrator talks about ESET Endpoint Antivirus v7 for business users, but I am not an business user. What antivirus should I get then?

MATT541 0
What is the difference between "ESET Internet Security" and "ESET NOD32 Antivirus"? Because I have two licenses, one is more expensive than the other. I've sent you a message about it.
Administrators Marcos 4,931 Posted November 20, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2020 For Windows there are 3 consumer products: EAV, EIS and ESSP: https://www.eset.com/int/home/for-windows/ For Linux there is only one product for consumers ESET NOD32 Antivirus for Linux desktop. It's a legacy version which is planned to be replaced with a new one next year.

As far as Windows is concerned, unlike EIS or ESSP ESET NOD32 Antivirus cannot protect you from brute-force RDP attacks which is a common way how attackers gain access to machines and then encrypt files. EIS and ESSP also contain: - a firewall - Anti-Theft - Antispam ESSP also contains: - Disk encryption - Password manager
