novice 20
Hi, If I install NOD 32 with a valid license on a spare laptop which will be OFF most of the time ( used mostly for vacations), will NOD32 update after , let say, 3 months of "inactivity"? Thanks!

novice 20
Hi Nedim and SweX, Thank you for your answers! Just to be sure, how do you know that NOD 32 will update after a long period of "OFF" time? I had Avira and later 360IS on that laptop; after 3 months, when I turned ON the laptop , Avira couldn't update and I had to manually download "Avira Fusebundle Generator" and , after that everything updated normaly. The same happened with 360IS , I had to download "Stand alone virus database", update manually and after that OK. The only one which works after a long time "OFF" is MSE ; As long as I have a spare license (from 3) I would be happy to install NOD 32 , as long as this will update normally after a long period of "OFF". SweX 871
I know because I have installed ESS using an installer on a CD wich were older than 3 months having a database etc.. from the time it was created. Of course the download will be a little bit bigger compared to if the PC is off for only 24hr as you will download both VSD's and probably several newer modules.
