When an inactivated Eset license is added to Eset License Manager, is the license key verified as legit?
Administrators Marcos 5,259 Posted October 29, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2020 A license key becomes valid as of the time of purchase so any license key is considered valid if the license has not run out or was cancelled. The only exception are retail boxed versions where the user must fill in the activation form https://www.eset.com/int/support/activate/ in order to receive a license key. This is true if the license was purchase directly from Eset. As far as boxed versions go, every one I have ever purchased always contained a license key.
