Shame on you Eset

How could you use a vendor with bad security habits? I've been a loyal customer with a 5 license purchase, but this is UNACCEPTABLE for a "we live security" company. Don't even think about deleting this or it'll be all over the Internet. I want an explanation not just a notice to change multiple passwords.

As stated, don't draw conclusions until the investigation is completed.

Pent tests were performed and security was double checked.

We will know soon enough what happened.

For all we know an employee could have handed out credentials to the database to someone, etc etc yadda yadda.

Don't blame the bank because of a bank robbery, do you get me ?

If you read the email it says "we have been informed by our third-party forum provider". ESET doesn't host the forums or manage the database. Invision Power Services do.
