MMokhtar 0 Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 I updated from from ESET remote administrator to Eset Security Management Center but after update i face problem that clients unable to receive direct updates If the ( use proxy server ) is enabled (client side ) settings---tools --- proxy it will update normal from LAN ( proxy configured ) without any issue But update is not happening from direct internet like Wi-Fi for users who is not connected to LAN (update is taking 2 minutes to start update And if you disable ( use proxy server ) update will not happen through LAN ( it will loop ) with no update But it will update from direct internet

This is because of the fallback option to enable direct connection if connection through a proxy server fails which happens when clients are outside the network. Since the clients are managed by ESMC, you can also use dynamic groups to apply different configuration based on the network that the clients are in. MMokhtar 1
