hardy123 0 Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 We recently updated lot of our machines to 7.3.2039.0 but upgrading these to 7.3.2041.0 requires restart again (not possible to do it automatically in our enviroment) otherwise realtime protection is non functional (thought this should not happen for minor upgrades). Is this minor upgrade and can be skipped/delayed?
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,461 Posted October 2, 2020 Administrators Solution Posted October 2, 2020 It's a minor update. A changelog has been published: https://forum.eset.com/topic/25668-eset-endpoint-products-for-windows-version-732041-have-been-released/ A restart is most likely needed due to changes in drivers. As of Endpoint v8 (a beta is already available), we will issue automatic program updates (so-called micro PCU) which will not require a computer restart.
