Sheyn 0 Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Hi there I have a client that has 3x Windows Servers, each at different sites with around 10x Windows 7/10 at one site and around 2x Windows 7/10 computers at the other sites. 1. I am trying to decide on the best Endpoint option? 2. Most of the computers on the LAN are not allowed internet access. If I go with the cloud option, is there a way to have a local update server? Thanks

Wouldn't it be possible to install an http proxy on a machine / server connected to the Internet to cache update files? While it's possible to create an offline mirror, you'd download much more data and would not be able to take advantage of LiveGrid and streamed updates.

If you install the http proxy bundled with the ESMC all-in-one installer, it will be pre-configured to allow connections only to ESET's servers.
