Amount of licenses in use on Terminal Server

Hello

In the Licensing FAQ it says:

Terminal servers: You need to buy an ESET endpoint license (ESET Endpoint Antivirus, for example) for each of your concurrent terminal sessions; however, you need to install ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server on each of these instances (this product has the same features as ESET Endpoint Antivirus, but can be installed on a terminal server). We recommend that you purchase an ESET Endpoint Protection Standard license, which will entitle you to install and activate both ESET Endpoint Antivirus and ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server.

That is clear so far. Is there a way to see how many licences that are in use on a Terminal Server? The Licence Reports in the Security Management Center do not show the correct number.

Thank you

Reto

EFSW for terminal servers is licensed per the number of thin clients that connect to it. Please contact your local ESET partner or reseller for more information.

That is clear but I'm looking for a way to see how many licenses that are in use. There seem to be no way.

I'll try to see if the local eset partner can answer that question.

Hi @Reto, per my knowledge, number of active terminal sessions should be reported in the column "Subunits" within ESET Business Account next to the name of the particular server. This information is not displayed anywhere in ESET Security Management Center at the moment.

Thank you for the feedback.

I checked that but the column "Subunits" is empty.

It is somehow difficult to know when I would run out of licences if there is no way to see how many that are really in use
