Elshafey 0 Posted September 27, 2020 Share Posted September 27, 2020 My phone backup was stored in an archive and the AV detected a malware in it then quarantined the whole archive and when I ty to restore it it gives me error "Restoring file from quarantine failed." what should I do? Administrators Marcos 4,704 Posted September 27, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 27, 2020 The error could be caused by insufficient permissions for the target folder or the quarantined files could be corrupted or inaccessible, e.g. due to a hw failure. Right-click the desired file in quarantine, select "Restore to" and restore it to a folder on your system drive. Then you can manually move it to another device or drive.
