Could not write value AppDataDir to key during download

Trying to Install ESET Smart Security and got this Error Message:

 

Could not write value AppDataDir to key /SYSTEM/Current ControlSet/Services/ehdrv/Parameters.  Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

 

I then dowloaded the malware detector and it said there was none.  How do I proceed?

Go to the Control panel -> Programs and features and uninstall any music or video toolbar from Bandoo. Then you should be able to install ESET fine. It should have been detected and deleted by ESET Online Scanner, too, but it's better to uninstall it in the standard way.
