Kerio Connect 8 crashes

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

Our client has Kerio Connect running on Windows 10 from within Outlook and the Kerio Offline Connector keeps crashing after a short period, which requires an Outlook restart so it gets loaded again.

Does the client require another ESET product for it to function properly?
We know Kerio 8 is outdated, but should it work? On a clean system without ESET it seems to work fine.

Thanking you in advance.

Does pausing protection or temporarily uninstalling ESET actually make a difference?

Thank you for your quick reply!

We have paused the protection for 30min and during this time it seems to work fine.

How to proceed?

That's weird especially if no threat was detected and no alert was triggered. Try pausing protection modules one by one, ie. real-time protection, web access protection, email protection, etc. to narrow it down.

Oh pardon me. We paused real-time protection, not all of ESET.

Forgive me the confusing reporting.

Try it with real-time protection enabled but with the "scan on" events disabled in the advanced setup, one at a time, to narrow it down further.
